Journal kept by Joseph H. Goodrich of Bingham ME, 1862. Tells of his activities at Kents Hill School through June of 1862, after which he enlisted in the Union Army. He was killed at Chancellorsville, VA in 1863. There are also several pages written in a different hand, largely of a religious and spiritual nature. According to family legend, these were probably written by one of his parents, Pickard or Elizabeth Goodrich.
